Your data is yours.
Not ours.

GetVitalyze is built on a "Local-First" architecture. This policy explains exactly what that means for your medical privacy.

1 Data Storage & Processing

Unlike traditional health apps, GetVitalyze does not have a backend database for storing user health records.

  • Local Processing: All PDF parsing happens inside your browser using WebAssembly. Your files are never uploaded to our servers.
  • Local Storage: Extracted data (e.g., Hemoglobin levels) is saved to your browser's localStorage. This data resides physically on your device.

2 What We Collect

Since we do not create user accounts, we collect minimal data:

  • Personal Info: We do NOT collect names, emails, or phone numbers.
  • Health Info: We do NOT see or store your medical reports.
  • Usage Data: We may collect anonymous analytics (e.g., "User visited Home Page") to improve site performance, but this is never linked to your health data.

3 Data Deletion

You have total control over your data. Clicking the "Clear Data" button in the Dashboard explicitly wipes the localStorage cache. Once cleared, this data cannot be recovered by us, as we never held a copy.

Medical Disclaimer
